Q:Does adding the basement stairs eliminate the powder room?
A:Good Afternoon,
The basement staircase will run underneath the existing stairs. To accommodate the basement access the ½ bathroom will move back to where the existing coat closet and pantry are located, and the coat closet and pantry will be removed from the floor plan.
