Q:Does this plan (w/out modifications) meet ADA wheelchair accessibility measurements - hallway and door widths, kitchen traffic way widths and circumference in at least primary bathroom?
A:In reviewing the ADA guidelines, the answer is no, it doesn't meet the guidelines. Specifically: the master bath should have a 60" turning radius from vanity to the opposite wall and it is currently only 51". Also, the wall and door to the master toilet would need to be removed. The owner would need to decide whether they are willing to decrease the left to right dimension of the master bedroom and create a new entry door to the master bedroom near to master entry door. Also, the master entry door is the minimum width for wheelchair access and should be widened by a couple inches for comfort.
42" wide hallway and kitchen widths are good for wheelchairs.
