Q:I live in northern Iowa. Is stucco as an acceptable siding as smart lap in this area? How about cost wise? We were thinking of just doing the front of our home.
A:Yes, stucco is acceptable, but I think in your area it will be better to go with siding. Is your choice, and pricewise, I think siding is cheaper.
Q:I don't see a mechanical equipment (HVAC, hot water heater) location. Is the plan to put it in the garage opposite the pantry?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The hot water heater would be located in the garage adjacent to the pantry. The HVAC equipment is located outside…adjacent to the pedestrian door of the garage and the laundry room. Please let me know if you have further questions.
